Choose “Bio” Seeds
When buying seeds from Italy, always look for the label “Bio.”
In Europe, Bio means the same thing as organic.

These seeds come from farms that follow strict regulations around pesticides, soil health, and growing practices.

Pay Attention to Seed Origin
The origin of the seed variety is just as important as how it’s grown.

Look for varieties that originate from:

• Italy (best option)

• Greece

These regions have long histories of preserving traditional vegetable varieties.
